The use of this site confirms you have read and agree to the Terms of Use as given below.

• I understand Troubleshooter Tom Martino and/or his staff have screened, to the best of their ability, the service professionals, contractors, merchants and vendors listed herein, also known as "Members". This pre-screening process includes a check of civil and criminal penalties, traffic offenses, credit and other financial data. However, no screening method is perfect and important items can be missed.
  
  
• I understand that Troubleshooter Tom Martino and/or his staff cannot check each and every employee in every company on the Referral List. Therefore, before I invite individuals into my home, I shall take sensible steps to assure my safety and security.
  
  
• I understand that the Troubleshooter Network provides a "Practical Safety Guide for In-Home Transactions" which can be accessed at the top of any Referral List page. I agree to read it to gain more knowledge regarding my safety and security.
  
  
• I understand the Members have agreed to the Code of Ethics listed on this web site. When it is determined by Tom Martino that Members are not meeting the code of ethics, it will result in removal as a Member.
  
  
• I understand Tom Martino and/or his staff shall use their best efforts in attempting to resolve any dispute I report to them between me and Members.
  
  
• I agree that if I wish to obtain the assistance of Tom Martino and/or his staff in resolving any such disputes with Members, I will contact Tom Martino and his staff in writing, using the Referral List Dispute Form available on this web site, within three days of a conflict, problem or questionable business practice of Members.
  
  
• I understand that paying money up front is risky and if I choose to pay Members, their affiliates, subcontractors or representatives in advance, I take full responsibility for my actions.
  
  
• I agree, as a condition of using this site, that I will not hold Tom Martino and/or his staff responsible for any loss, damage or financial problems arising from use of this site or my dealings with Members, their affiliates, subcontractors or representatives.
  
  
• I understand that if a dispute is not settled to my satisfaction, I have the right to bring a private civil action against any Member, their affiliates, subcontractors or representatives. Therefore, I shall not hold Tom Martino and/or his staff responsible for any unsettled disputes, problems or damages arising from my dealings with Members, their affiliates, subcontractors or representatives.
  
  
• I understand it is important to shop around and compare bids when transacting business and I understand that Tom Martino and his staff encourage me to do so before transacting business with Members. While shopping and comparing, I shall not rely solely on Members.
  
  
• I understand it is important to check experience, references, licensing, insurance and other pertinent background of Members before I use them and I shall not rely solely on Tom Martino and/or his staff, or Member to provide this information.
